A large crowd gathered Sunday to share stories, laughter and tears together. Lots of photos, flowers, food, drinks, costumes, and great music created a very beautiful atmosphere for the afternoon festivities.
A huge thanks to our two hard working organizers, Stephanie and Christopher, who directed this beautiful event, from decorating to food.
Also thank you to our other helpers, Rhonda, Nova, Connie, Zami, and Joe Fagan.
A special thank you to our speakers who shared special memories of William: Patrice Cartier, Thelma Ortega, Naomi Mitchell, Louise Ullrich, Ed Meyers, and Julie Chen.
We also thank everyone who made and brought delicious foods and drinks and a big hug to everyone who has known and loved Billy aka William, and who joined us in celebration of his dancing, friendship, creativity and love for everyone.
We will certainly miss our partner.

Join us in continuing William's legacy of dancing and fun at our weekly dance parties, resuming Friday, May 19 from 7:30-9:30.
With much sadness, we announce the loss of a long-time dancer, teacher and friend, William Wimer, on April 1, 2023.
William passed away quickly and without suffering while he was doing what he loved to do best...dancing!
There will be a Celebration of Life scheduled later this month. Those of you who would like to share photos, please EMail them to La Danse Cleveland
The time and date and location of the celebration will be in another posting/email and will also be posted on both the Riverfront Ballroom Dance Studio and the La Danse Cleveland social media and websites.
